CONSTRUCTION WORKS

CLEARANCES

Removal of internal partitions, internal staircases beyond the central one. Removal of all other constructions and materials within the premises of the new surgeries and their removal in accordance with the instructions of the technical specifications.

MASONRY

Construction of single-sided masonry (lining) or partitions according to the approved plans. A sandblasting film is also included on the inner surfaces of the glass panes

The areas of operating theatres, clean corridors and recovery areas are covered with an antimicrobial PVC lining (M-WALL)

CEILINGS

CLIP IN false ceiling system suitable for watertight clean spaces, 600X600mm metal plates, electrostatically painted in RAL color. The ceiling system is watertight and accessible over its entire length, while the installation of equipment to be suspended from the ceiling can be installed through the system.

FLOORING

Granit type, 2 mm thick, roll plastic carpet is  installed in the cleanrooms. Before application, the humidity enclosed in the substrate is measured, to ensure is not exceeding 4%. A sanitary-type skirting is formed around the perimeter of the premises, with a fold of 10 cm. Conductive plastic carpet in a roll, 2mm thick is installed in the operating theaters, reinforced by copper strips, in form and arrangement according to the E/M study and according to the regulations for conductivity. INTERIOR FRAMES

The internal doors are consisted of an electrostatically painted metal frame, waterproofing rubbers, a door leaf with HPL formica finish on both sides and a perforated chipboard core, knobs, handles and security locks.

Operating Rooms doors are hermetic/ automatic / bi-leaf door /sliding/with HPL formica finish and chipboard infill

WALL PAINTINGS

All the spaces, except for those that will be lined with antimicrobial materials, are painted with hypoallergenic plastic paint suitable for clinics and hospitals. The paintings are done in 3 layers and include restoration and sanding of walls 

ELECTRO-MECHANICAL WORKS

STRONG CURRENTS ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

Electrical Panels, Low-voltage panel instruments, Low-voltage panel instruments, Cable crossing & branching materials, Switches – sockets, Autonomous escape exit marking lighting, Autonomous LED lighting power supply unit. Supply and installation of lighting bodies, compatible with the waterproofing and suspension system. The lighting bodies of the operating rooms are iP65 certified, 52W LED technology 

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS OF WEAK CURRENTS

Installation of telephones – Data, Installation of intercommunication – Peripheral unit, Loudspeaker Installation, Installation of electric clocks, Wiring of electrical installations of weak currents.

AIR CONDITIONING / HEATING / VENTILATION INSTALLATION

Air duct networks, Air Supply Regulation Mechanisms, Air vents, Machines and Devices, K.K.M. control system. Ensuring the appropriate conditions in the intervention areas, autonomy where these are defined by the study and in accordance with the technical specifications of the current legislation

IRRIGATION AND DRAINS INSTALLATION

Piping, Piping network components. Also included are Piping, Components of the air conditioning piping network.

INSTALLATION OF ACTIVE FIRE PROTECTION

Includes portable fire extinguishers. If any additional structured fire fighting installation occurs it should be costed as additional work.

MEDICAL GASES INSTALLATION

Oxygen gas and medical air centers, Medical gas intakes, Medical gas switch, Medical gas network copper pipes, Local light and sound signaling system.

CLEANROOMS CONSTRUCTION

In particular, for the construction of aseptic spaces, all the prescribed regulations governing the construction of these spaces and related to hospital spaces should be observed, namely:

Air conditioning (Temperature and relative humidity, ventilation, KCM and automation – operation control, proper filtration with absolute filters, prevention of contamination, etc.)

Electrical installations (safety indicator signals, equipotential grounding, isolation transformers, electric floor resistors, panels and use of PPC/HZ/UPS etc.)

Medical gases (consoles/ intakes, distribution, control station according to ISO 7396, DY8/B/oc.115301/26-08-2009 – Air conditioning ensures aseptic conditions as described in ISO 14644-1 while the quality characteristics should be checked based on ISO 14644-3.
